TahoePix- Fall

Blazing Aspens in Meiss Valley

Is it possible to get tired of blazing yellow aspens in the fall?  Aspens are like an alarm clock of sorts for summer and winter freaks alike.  For winter people, it’s time to start dreaming of early snow and big powder days.  For summer people, it’s a countdown timer and reminder to get in every last ride, hike, run possible.  This pic was taken along the Tahoe Rim Trail between Big Meadow and the PCT.  This is one of our favorite spots for fall colors; panoramic views, lots of contrast, and a big sky set the stage.  We try to get out here for fall colors every October.
