She is a good sport with the life jacket. She is a water dog, great swimmer, and loves to swim. The life jacket keeps her head an inch of two higher in the water. It also has a grab handle to pluck her out of the water if necessary. Occasionally we fall in on the paddleboards and take and unexpected swim, too. It’s mostly for peace of mind. Daisy know that it helps and is pretty relaxed about the getting dumped in the water with it on.
I’ve actually done a 5-mile stand up paddleboard race with Daisy in blasting wind and 5′ waves. She did great. We both fell in repeatedly.
